Individual support in and through sport: a way of social inclusion
By: Association DAHLIR

DAHLIR supports disabled people who are under-represented in “ordinary” sports, due to various social issues. Through a different approach to sports and physical activities, DAHLIR allows disabled people to express their individual wishes for sport and cultural activities.

DAHLIR is available in 5 departments in France with proven social impact on health, independence and self-confidence. The program strengthens social bonds and pursues a more open-minded, inclusive society. DAHLIR actively promotes the recognition of sport as a tool for social inclusion and employability.
